SHOPPING, BEACH & SIAMESE SECRET

Since Saturday is a day for meeee.... hehe i requested dear to bring me shopping!!!!!! He's been reallly reaallly reaaaaaaalllly busy with his work recently so before we actually start to shop, we have to go to his work place for a little while =_=. Apparently he needs to check out on something.
that's him... with his new ride.
*a 'fragile' one i must say, everything is so new that i myself would have the unsecure feeling when driving.. LOL* and i only drove once!! and that was less than 1 km! =_____=
i've dyed my hair and guess who did it for me??? heheh my MUM! not bad huh...
While waiting... the bored me started to take pictures of baby's new ride. *the interior only, till today i still haven got a proper shot of the exterior.. wonders why.. hmmph*
Well, back to the gear.. notice any diff compare to the normal auto car??? yea! it's the zig zag part...which is also the part i hate so much!! the whole pattern makes the changing of gear more troublesome. *sigh* why la they have to design it that way. Can someone clarify me?? *itu engineer memang fail la to me*
On our way to Bintang Megamall, we saw a huge cloud of smoke from afar. And when we got near, there is already a long jam due to all the kepo passerby and drivers *like us* hahaha who slows down to get a view of what's happening.
I think it was a workshop on fire. The houses nearby are at high risk of getting burned too. The news appeared on the newspaper the next morning but i din get to read it. hehe
LOL got this picture as we about to leave to scene. *i think it's pretty xD* It potrays a totally diff view and meaning. It looks as if someone is doing an open burning *which is NOT!*.
We went to beach to watch sunset after we shopped. Which kinda remind me.... i have not fly my kite for ages!!!! *run off to search for it*.......

After the sun barely set... * i said barely cause the sky was not dark yet!* we went off to dinner. At Siamese Secret. =p For Pizza!~ LOL
I'm craving for pizza that time..so off we go to SS.
cheesy~ chessy~! cant get a good pict cause the lighting was bad, not to mention the camera phailed terribly in poor lighting. *sigh*
but the food was great. My craving for it was finally been satisfied
and i was nearly sick of it when i just nibbled off the ingredient part and left the crust behind. hahaha i swore it was not an act of wasting food!
Went home after that as a happy and contented girl...ah, i'm so easy to please, right dear ;] hahaha Shopping + food = Happy ME!
I only shopped for skin care and cosmetic product. Lipgloss and blusher goes in Dear's account. hehe love being pampered by him. <3

Drink more water people! Cause the weather at my place is really weird recently.
When Miss Sunshine feels happy, she'll glows brightly for the whole day. But sometimes when Mr Cloud feels too heavy, droplets of water would be suddenly released without any warning. So stay hydrated and don't fall sick. *wink*

Laze around Soho since there's nothing much to do on a Saturday nite. Great atmosphere with good music.
Limited edition of tiger is cute! i think this is the best design among all. *wonders if anyone collect these bottles .__. *
George and Minesh is there too. The guys do their talking while me do my eating and camwhoring =)

p/s : I somehow came up with a theory why there are more guys that drink than girls... & Dear somehow think it's quite rite... hihihi will let you guys know the next time.

IMPERIAL & STARBUCKS & CINEPLEX

We went to Imperial to continue our CCH which stands for Chicken Chop Hunt. I came out with this name myself ahhaha *minta puji* Anyway, dinner was great but the band group was loud. And when i say loud, it is really LOUD. hahaha we left immediately after we finished and din even bother to stay for dessert. *another reason is we're feeling bloated already! ><* this cocktail is named after me! LOL *bu yao lian* but seriously it's Michele

Dear somehow managed to persuade me to watch movie at the 'so-called cinema', so i give in. Bought 2 tickets for Ice Age 3 but the movie will only start at 10.45pm. Since we've never been to the newly opened Starbucks in Miri yet *outdated couple LOL*, we decided to give it a try.

As i've predicted... the cinema still sucks big time even if it's Star 1...2...3... or 4.. =__= I've been complaining bout the smell even since i settled down. Omg it really stinks! Dear said he didnt smell anything, maybe i'm being sensitive. But the worst has yet to come. Hahahaha and this time I'm the one who persuades him back! LOL the voices of the characters sort of run off should i say? or there's other word for it? hmmmph... the point is...it's not what it should sound like.. squeeky... it's horrible.. hahahaha... but there's a couple behind us who can still laugh like mad LOL luckily it was only a cartoon movie. =)
Ice Age 3 would be a nice hillarious movie to watch but not in Miri's cinema. I told dear that we should rewatched it some other day and we both finally agreed that we will not step into Miri's cinema ever again. hahahahaha what a night.

We escaped to Brunei again to watch Transformer 2. *wink* Another one coming this weekend! Lunch was at Excapade again cause i'm craving for salmon again. =)

I told mum that i wanted to follow her to the market yesterday cause i'm craving for some kueh

Me : What time u usually leave the house?
Mum : Why? You just tell me what u wanna eat, i'll buy for you.
Me : Nvm la, i wanna follow. Long time din go market d.
Mum : But i'll leave at around 6 something (and it's morning!)
Me : O___O oh, ok.. i'll see if i can make it tomorrow. lol

Well, i din managed to wake up that early for the market. =)) but i manage to get myself up for my Korean drama and already saw those kueh on the kitchen table! hahahahaha mum's the best!

mum said this is called the scissor kueh (=.=) but to me it is chee cheong fun la! hahhaha
I would still prefer the red sweet sauce we have in Miri compare to the black sauce we used to have in our campus cafeteria. And i hate the fried onion that they sprinkle together with the black sauce!! big NO-NO for me whenever i order it.

JUNE 09

i'm gonna spend some time writing this post and let you know briefly what i've done for the past few weeks

1. Excapade Sushi, Brunei
It's kinda pity that Mirians actually need to travel across the border for a good Japanese meal. I've tried Nikko and Shiki, both does serve edible sushi but the variety which they offered are no match compare to Excapade. But for me, the trip up to Brunei are usually accompanied by movies. Well, Miri cinema sucks a lot i can tell you! I've officially give up on them. Poor management, stuffy and smelly, dirty chair (not to mention the environment) & blurry screen with poor sound system *sigh* it just sucks. Why bother to pay that 9-10 bucks where it only cost 6 dollars and yet with a MUCH MUCH better quality in Brunei.

2. Bro's Abacus Arithmetic Competition
I've been assigned (sort of) to train my bro for this competition. Nothing much, 2 minutes for each set.. there 4 altogether and 30 sec to do the last one. It was amazing that some of these kids actually managed to finished everything in that 2 minutes. Mind you the question was something 456 x 4 =? or 48 X 53 =? and there are like 40 question each set! I bet their brain neurons are really healthy for such speed and accuracy. Oh ya, no calculator. The only equipment that you need is a pencil and of course your brain. =)

3. Weekends and Father's Day
Since i'm the only one that have fully completed my placement, weekends is the only time i have to spend with my baby dear. x) We'll have good time tasting nice foods at diff place each week and of course spending time together is the most important one.

Father's day was spent with his family... something funny happened & eventually we celebrated the big day twice hihi XD
that's roti kahwin and i dunno what it is called in english.. the bun was soft with a bit of cake texture and of course it is baby dear's favourite!

I've found my fav mushroom soup again!!!! hihihihi did i ever mentioned that i used to love the mushroom soup at Double Star. But *sigh* after i've been away to Kl, the quality have definitely drop. Altho it still taste nice, but it's not as thick like it used to be.
AND AND AND... this mushroom soup is definitely deserve two thumbs from me!!! with the garlic bread that serve along, the aroma and the rich flavour is absolutely superb XP ok... over exagerate here...lol Those of you who loves mushroom soup just like me..you can have a try at Best Western Restaurant in Grand Palace. Worth it worth it!

teh-c-peng special! something you can hardly find in West Malaysia!!! and wheatgrass c too!!! try to order these 2 drinks in the west and i bet 9/10 would say that they dont have such drink in their menu!!

4. Inter Unit First Aid Competition, Miri Chapter 09
As an ex-member of the Red Crescent Society, the curious me of course wont let go the opportunity to watch this competition. Well, another reason would be that my elder bro was one of the participant as well. =) of course have to go show some support ma..

the 'scene'
a few worker were trying to fix something and there were some minor accident and kaboom.. waiting for first aider to come... lol
one with electric shock, one with fractured leg and another one which is in the middle would be spinal injury i guess... hehehe saw some funny act from the first aiders, eg. dragging the casualty with fractured leg across the scene... omg.. imagine that in real life... wouldn't it be supeeeeeeeerr painful!!
my bro was assigned to the casualty with shock.. did some minor mistakes but it was alright =)
and the tough part of Team Test was this!!!
you have to carry your casualty into the ambulance. When i was still a member, there are no such thing as calling the ambulance or transporting the casualty into the ambulance in the competition. It must have been something they've added recently to add up the heat to the competition. I've even overheard one of the judges said that after the participant have called, a length of 10 minutes is needed before the siren can be on to indicate the ambulance is here. Oh well, complicated stuff... enough of that.. hehe
i saw my bro sleeping while waiting for the closing ceremony and quicly snap this photo!! lol
i'm still wondering how he could doze off in that position!
Anyway, congrats to St. Joseph, Miri for winning the Team Test category and also as the 1st runner up!

5. Summer job placement with Columbia Asia.
Monday to Friday, 8.00 - 5.00 pm with an hour of lunch break in between, that's basically my weekdays routine from 4 to 30th of June . hehehehe but with no regrets i shall look back at it cause i've learn many things that even books nor lectures could have taught us. The staff are really friendly and they are willing to share their knowledge as long as you're willing to open the 'golden mouth' and ask. Here are some of the pictures that i've took before i leave.

the assignment given by our supervisor. I'm required to list down the indications for all the medication on the list... seems a lot to do rite.. but actually it's not! I have to look into MIMS to find all the indications but halfway through the assignment then only i realised, everything i need is in the system!!! (-_____-)||

MIMS.. the not-so-useful bible for pharmacist =p
a better system where prescription are already keyed in by the doctors and the technician are only required to prepare and dispense the medicines. oh ya.. with MIMS information inside as well (-_-)
restock session are usually between 10 - 3, where the new stock from stores would be moved down to the dispensary department and we'll check the quantity and arrange each it its allocated place. The first few days was a bit alien as i've not recognized the placing of the medications yet, but everything went smoothly after a week. Altho i still make a mistake or two by picking the wrong medication, but my colleagues would double check it for me.. hihi
the hole.. where hand written prescription would be hand over by the nurses.
they usually ask for the same thing... Agripal, Heparix, Havarix, Malarone
especially Agripal...when H1N1 is spreading widely nowadays, everyone would want a jab of the flu vaccine... but NOT H1N1 vaccine k!!! hahaahah
some of colleagues are having hard time explaining to patient that there is no such H1N1 vaccine exist yet... if not there wont be so much of death case rite? =)
and overview of the Pharmacy Dispensary department.
Speaking of which, my supervisor still owe me an official letter!!! aduh... dunno when i'll drag myself out of my house just to get it. Miri so small and yet it feels far away from my house. hehehe
