1st week was a bit quiet for me as i was placed at the specialist clinic and of course not much patient around that week as the premier clinic was closed. oh ya, they have normal clinic which is at the main building and premier clinic which is located at the other building. Premier clinic's customer are usually patients who have their medical expenses covered by their company. I use my time to learn about different brands of drugs and filling up the special precaution/indication which is required by my manager.
2nd week is when things started to kick in. Since premier clinic has opened and holiday just ended, number of patients increased as well. i've learned about DDA drug and ward storage system from the manager himself. Faced some real life case where drugs prescribed by the doctors are actually not available in Malaysia and pharmacist have to discuss with doctors fro a better option.
3rd week is when i've spend most of time in the main building's pharmacy department. I've learned how to key in drug label, how to check stock, arrange stock, dispense medication and dealing with patient. But it can be really bored at some times when there's no patient! (and i'll make use of the time to read newspaper! LOL) hihih guess that everyone is very healthy at the moment or they dont even dare to step out of their home due to the H1N1 cases recently!! XD
Next week is going to be my last week on placement! Time really flies! have to work this saturday cause there will be a visiting specialist. Friday is here again, time to pamper ourselves!!!! hihihihi
p/s : i wanna watch Transformer 2!!!! when ah when ah my dear??? and sushi as well =p
