HOLIDAYS = shop + eat!!

I've been neglecting my blog for quite some time now.. so basically it's time to sweep away all those dust that has been thicken on my page since last week... so what i've been up to?? ready for lots of pictures ahead.. cause i'm sooooooo lazy to write bout everything =]

I spend almost 12 hours together with the girls

we took the earliest bus and reach Midvalley bout 10
first stop of the day = Vinccithat's tien li... trying to figure out which one should she buy
well... she bought the blue ones in the end..
Christmas is just around the corner and i can even hear CNY songs been played at some shops as wellthis puppet is cute!one of the Christmas tree in MVwe look so short here! -______-
and that's not even the tallest tree!!!christmas tree in mph bookstorewhile waiting for huey yi to apply for her member cardtummy grumbles.. so off we go to sushi king for lunchin the process of deciding what to eat.. hahathe girls bought me a piece of cake from secret recipe when i'm not noticing
how sweet of them.. but i gobble up everything while waiting for my food to arrived
guess that i was just too hungry =p
my lunch was rice with chicken and eggs
after lunch we went to The Gardens
the atmosphere there is not as merry as MV
the deco there are nice tho...
but i've no idea what are those cages for...-_______-''we went back to MV after that and continue to shop
then we came across this!!awwww... isn't it cute
altho it's huge... but guess what... the grey one next to it actually cost more!
so ppl..don't judge a book by it's cover... =p
we left MV bout 7 pm... and reached home bout 9
both legs and arms are damn tired
and picture of the day would be...ss.. just like what su lan said in fb... hahaha

Stayed at home... watched heroes
I've managed to finished season 1... but it's getting more complicated in season 2
laze around... cook my own lunch or skipped it =p
clean my room... surf the net...

Dear and i decided to cook our lunch today
So i waited him at home for him to finish his classes...
after lunch.. we have to get ready for our charity visits

it was cloudy that day...
we went to the old folks' home first..
brought some stuff for them as well
then to the orphans'
we organized some games for them
and some of them are really naughty!!!there are also a Santa Claus to give out sweets and gifts for them
i overheard some of the children asking
'Why santa is wearing slipper one?'(o.O)''''
oopps... fake Santa spotted!
Plans to go to MV after that visit was canceled cause i was too tired
went back home and watch movie instead...

20 - 22/12/08

Dear and i went out shopping these few days
from MV to Bukit Bintang then to One U then back to MV again
seriously.. all these days.. what i've been doing was shop and eat and shop some more
lots of food pictures ahead...

it took us 3 hours to get One U but it was worth it
the Christmas deco at One U was beautifulthe theme they had for this year was 'Alice in the Wonderland'
we had our lunch at Sushi Zanmai
finally i've a place that serve good and affordable sushi
oh well.... nothing beats the Excapade =)

then another day we went to Bukit Bintang
it was the winter solstice day
i was missing home so badly...
but luckily dear managed to find ourselves 'tang yuan'
to compensate for the feeling of being left out for this lovely festival
my 'tang yuan' with ginger soup
this was my first time having 'tang yuan' with ginger soup cause mum usually cook them with pandan leaves
the taste feels weird when i just put it into my mouth
but after a few times.. i get used to it and actually like it!
as we didn't have any lunch... except 'tang yuan' and a plate of nasi lemak which we both shared
we had our early dinner at U Cafe

i've tried it and it taste somehow like 100 plus with just a little bit of minty flavour

dear had chicken chop
omg... he's been searching high and low for a nice chicken chop
he's satisfied with this one... but... portion is a problem he said..
when will he found a nice one... hmmmph.. we'll just have to wait and see
i had spaghetti with teriyaki chicken
it was nice.. and the portion was just nice for me...

but too bad.. they didn't have it at The Garden's

cause we're too hungry... so everything was gobble into our tummy before we even realized

I'm in dreamland.. just about to enjoy my fresh salmon sushi and sashimi

And suddenly...........

Dear : DOOOOOOOOONG!! WAAAAAA!! WOOOOOO! AAAAHHHH!
Me : *still half asleep* huh?
Dear : *sings birthday song*

that was the first surprises he got for me..
the first thing that came across my mind when i heard those noisy sound was
"omg...who so crazy shouting in the middle of the night"

another surprises from dear and my friends...
i was talking with my friends outside my room and when i went downstairs
i heard ppl singing birthday songs again!
it's dear and my fellow coursemates!!!!
hahahhaha i didn't expect that he would get a birthday cake for me
cause transport would be a problem... and where he gonna hide the cake with me almost 24 hours besides him!
but it seems that my 6th sense got a bit problem already....
so speechless and touching...*my b'day cake from secret recipe*

that's how a day is gone for my birthday
although mock is on the next day... but i still manage to enjoy myself

Viva la Vida Nite and Community Visit

today was the last day for our lab session in this sem... feels happy but kinda sad at the same time
no more medicine manufacturing liaw le... T_______T i'll miss the 'rushing for apparatus' moment and the sound of grinding and mixing our products..
there's no class this afternoon and so is tomorrow and the next day as well... hahaha damn nice!
and i didn't even realised that i only need to attend another day of lectures on monday before the holidays.. which mean i'm gonna have holidays break much much earlier than i've expected.. muahaha *joy in the air* and since i've some time today... might as well blog bout the long due viva la vida nite and community visit.. i've uploaded the photo to fb.. lazy to upload everything here.. so just visit my fb to see all the photos ba..

FUNCTION : Viva la Vida Nite

organized by pharmnotts in correspond to the Cancer Awareness Week
dear and his friends went too... ^^
there were food stalls and live band performances
and there was supposed to be a candle lighting session as well
but.. it was raining so heavily that night that we have to cancel that session
each of us were assigned to do something... and me.. i think i got the easiest job in the world =p
what i need to do is to look around and make sure there's no chaos.. pretty easy rite
which gave me plenty of time to snap photos and walk around

there's quite a number of food sold that night...
i remember that i've bought a slice of domino's pizza... sweet corn
and dear bought donuts!!! guess how many he actually bought! i think more than 6 la!!

the event ended pretty early that night... we left some of the pizzas and drinks which we distribute among ourselves and cleaned up the splace before I went back home to rest and prepare for my visits which is on the very next day!

woke up soooooooooooo early in the morning cause our bus will be leaving at 7.30
that's the place we are going
the pharmacist of the shop ( Mr KK Lee ) was a quite young man..
and he have 6 retail pharmacy already in kl
quite a businessman as well huh.. =]
we learn a lot during the visits like how to take blood's glucose level
i didn't know that pharmacy provide such services till the day i visit his pharm
must be a way to attract more customer la... hahaha

since Mr KK Lee said that we young ppl should not have any problem with cholesterol level
we take our lecturer as the 'victim' hahahah
turn out, he's quite healthy actually
oh ya.. forget to mention.. that cholesterol machine actually cost about 3000+
freaking expensive la wei....natasha doing the blood pressure checkwe finished early and have bout an hour for use to fill up our tummy
and Mr Wong was so nice that he let us go for lunch before going back to campusMcD for lunchie....... =]
